U.S. Air Force fighter pilot Noah Miller—call sign Burn—loves nothing more than flying hard and fast. When he meets a gorgeous and sassy woman while partying in Las Vegas, he immediately locks on to her.
Jordan Callahan owns a thriving clothing boutique, but her love life is far less successful. Her luck changes when six feet, two inches of sexy swagger asks her to dance and turns her world upside down.
One scorching weekend becomes an undeniable chemistry that they can’t leave in Vegas. But the long distance relationship and their different lives threaten to ground their romance. And when the dangers of Noah’s job become all too real, Jordan learns being with a fighter pilot means risking it all for a shot at love…
What a nice little contemporary romance that delivers plenty of feels. Oh, and sexy Air Force fighter pilots. Can’t forget them!
It’s a chance meeting in a Vegas night club, but what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there. I immediately adored Jordan, and loved that she enjoyed playing with Noah when they first met, making him work a little for her. This wasn’t insta-love, but it was insta-connection and a whole lot of insta-attraction. The chemistry between them was burning up the pages.
Noah is in the Air Force and is a badass fighter pilot, and it makes maintaining a relationship difficult. I love that this really delved into the military life when it comes to the significant others. It didn’t just gloss over how rough it can be and turn it into all rainbows and butterflies. It’s something Jordan and Noah have to figure out, what they’re willing to do to be together and whether it’s worth it.
Ah, the guys. I enjoyed the scenes with Easy, Noah’s best friend, especially when he gave Noah a hard time. I do wish there were more scenes with all of them together – I love a good bromance.
Fly With Me is perfect if you want a quick read that’ll make you laugh, swoon, and maybe shed a tear or two. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in the Wild Aces series.
