Hidden Legacy

This is my review for the second and third book in the Hidden Legacy series. Find my review for Burn for Me here!

How do they do it? Everything the Andrews write is magic!

There was an almost three year wait for White Hot, but it was so worth it! Not only that, Wildfire released soon after. No torturous wait!

I’m not necessarily one to reread books, so I hadn’t planned on rereading Burn for Me. I thought I remembered the story fairly well and figured I could just read the last chapter to refresh. I quickly realized a reread was a must, and am I ever glad I did! It was just as amazing as the first time around, and it made these two even better.

This series has it all! There’s action, humor, romance, fantastic world-building, outstanding main & secondary characters, and anything else you could ever want in a book. In White Hot, Nevada takes a dangerous case that draws a lot of attention to her and her abilities. Attention that has the potential to harm her and her family. The consequences become a reality in Wildfire, and is it a doozy! While each book has individual plots, they’re all connected in one overall storyline. Definitely read them in order.

I love Nevada and her family to pieces! Nevada is easily a favorite heroine now. No doubt about it! I mean, she’s an amazing, kickass character from the moment we meet her, but the growth with her magic and everything else bumps her up even more. What adds to my love for Nevada is her love and loyalty to her family. They would do anything for each other, and they all have a wonderfully entertaining dynamic. We discover some pretty big secrets about them, and is it ever delightful. Do not eff with the Baylors!

And then there’s Connor “Mad” Rogan. Listen, there is a fine line with me when it comes to alpha males and the way they behave. Rogan gets full approval. He is alpha, for sure, but the way he treats and respects Nevada makes all the difference. Nevada is an alpha too, so I love that he fully supports her independence, her views, her abilities, etc. There’s a nice balance – he’s protective, but also fights side-by-side with her. It goes both ways with them. They also tease and can be lighthearted together. So yeah, they have the type of dynamic that I adore.

The series is addicting and so well written. I’m just extremely happy and totally satisfied with these books from beginning to end. I’m praying to the almighty book gods that there will be more!

I also want to beg you to please, please, please not judge these books by their covers. They are awful, but what’s inside them will blow you away!

Burn for Me (book #1) is $2.99!
